Driving License Category A1
Driving License Category A1 permits you to drive motorized two-wheeled vehicles. It permits you to drive mopeds or small motorcycles that have engines that have no more than 11 kW.
The process for obtaining this license is a bit different from other categories. Let's take a look at the steps.
Prerequisites
You must be at minimum 16 years old in order to get a driving license category A1. This license allows you to drive light motorcycles, while categories A2 and A are designed for larger motor vehicles. You also need to complete the first-aid course as well as theoretical training that follows the full program. Different driving schools offer this course. All driving schools follow the same curriculum, even though their fees might differ.
The practical training consists up of a number of driving lessons. The classes run between three and four hours per. Training
In order to obtain a Driving License Category A1, you must pass both the theory and the practical test. You will also have to attend a theory class and receive a course. You must also have a category E license to tow trailers that have an authorized maximum weight of more than 750kg.
It is important to note that if you're an adult, you will require the written permission of your guardian in order to be eligible for a Driving License Category A1. Theory test
The Driving License Category A1 test is a two part test, which includes both a theoretical and practical portion. It is designed to provide you a basic understanding of the highway code and driving abilities. Both tests must be passed before you can get your license. The test for theory comprises 50 multiple-choice questions that you must correctly answer. After you have passed the exam in the theory section, you can arrange a test in the practical. If you pass the practical portion of the test, you'll receive your driver's license within two weeks. It will be marked with a gold ring over the expiration date, and you'll be required to show it every time you are required to do so. You won't be able to drive any other vehicles on your driving licence, and you must renew it at least once every two years.

Practical test
The test part of the Driving License Category A1 exam comprises two parts. The first part is the examiner's check and prepping your motorcycle for driving. The next step is to complete a variety of practical tasks in an area for testing. These tasks include an angle start (moving off from behind a car that is parked) and a variety of normal starts. You will also be asked to perform numerous hill starts, and also turn left and right in the road. You must have completed a minimum of five hours of training on Federal or country roads, four hours of instruction on highways, and 3 training hours at the dark or at dawn before you can take the practical test. After having passed the theory and practice tests, you can get a Driving License Category A1. This licence allows you to drive a motorcycle with a maximum displacement of 125 cc, and an engine power/weight ratio of not more than 11 kW per kilogram. This licence permits you to operate trikes with engines up to 125cc, and a power/weight ratio of no more than 11 kW per kilogram.
Alongside the driving test you must pass an exam for medical reasons before you can get your license. You must show proof that you've completed an emergency first aid course and passed an eye test. If you are younger than 18, you must have the permission of your parent or legal guardian to apply for a driving license.
